Registration:  Sorry, registration closed on 1 May.

Fees:  Fees are levied on a per-person basis.  There are no concessions except for children under 12 years of age, who are charged half-price.

Cost:  The cost to register is $450 per person 12 years and over; half-price for children under 12.

Vehicle requirements:  Click here for vehicle eligibility criteria and other information to help you prepare for the trip.

Limit:  A limit has been placed on the number of participants as the amenities in the region will be stretched while we are there.  The limit is 100 vehicles of any 4WD marque, with 50 places reserved (until further notice) for Land Rover heritage vehicles.

Meals:  The registration fee covers all evening meals on Days 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8.  Note, please, that Hungerford (Day 8) is the last formal night of the Drive.  Evening meals on the first night in Bourke (Day 0) and the Innamincka rest day (Day 5) and all breakfasts, lunches and snacks are the responsibility of individual participants.

Accommodation:  The registration fee includes a basic camping fee for Days 0 to 8 (i.e. 31 May to 7 June) of the Drive.  The basic camping fee covers the cost of the unpowered sites at the various overnight stays along the route.  Not all venues charge for unpowered sites and this is reflected in the registration fee.  Should you choose to upgrade your accommodation at particular venues to powered sites, cabins, motels etc., the respective camping fees will be considered a donation to the event.

Fuel:  Fuel (both unleaded and diesel) is available at all overnight stays.

SupportLimited breakdown assistance will be available if required.
