Tibooburra

Our Day 2 destination (Tuesday, 1 June) is Tibooburra.  This is a small township, like Wanaaring, with limited facilities.  Nevertheless, Tibooburra has much to offer the traveller, including its rich heritage as a former gold rush town, the Clifton Pugh murals in the Family Hotel, and a range of accommodation options. 

For Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive participants, there are unpowered sites at the sportsground and the Granites Caravan Park.  The evening meal will be served at the racecourse and there is a treat in store at the Drive-In Theatre.
