Thargomindah

Our Day 7 destination (Sunday, 5 June) is Thargomindah.  Thargomindah is on the Adventure Rd between Innamincka and Cunnamulla.  It has an interesting history, being one of the earliest towns in the world to use hydroelectric power.   Essential supplies can be purchased at the General Store, which also offers tyre and mechanical repairs.  And a beer or two at the Bulloo River Pub is a must!

For Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive participants, camping has been arranged at the Explorer Caravan Park.  Arrangements for the evening meal will be advised in Bourke.
