Noccundra

Our Day 6 destination (Saturday, 5 June) is Noccundra.  Noccundra is located on the Wilson River, 145 km west of Thargomindah, on the road to Broken Hill.  It features an airstrip, a hotel, a community hall, an annual racing carnival and a population of 4 (or thereabouts).  The hotel, which dates from the 1880s, is heritage-listed. 

For Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive participants, there are campsites along the Wilson River and swag camping in the Community Hall.  The evening meal will be a barbecue served at the Pub.
