Innamincka

We will reach Innamincka on Day 4 (Thursday, 3 June) and will rest there for a day before turning east for Noccundra.  Innamincka is a tiny but iconic settlement on the Cooper Creek, providing services to travellers and the local pastoral and mining communities.  It is famed for its proximity to heritage sites, like the Dig Tree, the beautiful Coongie Lakes region and other SA Desert Parks.

For Outback Land Rover Heritage Drive participants, there are unpowered sites along the Cooper Creek,  with good facilities at the visitors' centre.  The convoy dinner will be held on the evening of our arrival (3 June) at the Innamincka Hotel.  Participants will need to cater for themselves on the other two nights of our stay.
